As a photo editor for the Columbia Missourian, I shaped visual coverage by guiding photographers, selecting and refining images, and collaborating with designers to elevate each story’s impact. I played a central role in turning daily reporting into compelling visual narratives—ensuring our print and digital editions were accurate, ethical, and visually strong. My leadership helped photographers strengthen their storytelling, and my editing decisions directly shaped the final presentation readers saw.
